I have been scrapbooking since middle school. In high-school, I spent a lot of time doing genealogy. Finding out so much about my ancestors and their stories further fueled my desire to scrapbook so that their stories would not be lost. I love scrapbooking for both it’s heirloom, family history side and as an artistic expression. I have a wonderful husband, 3 children and 2 cats. I also enjoy photography and stamping.

A Review Challenge….

              

 I was in the Savvy N Sassy store today leaving a couple reviews for the great kits I’ve used lately…I want to challenge you to leave your own product reviews. a couple little projects — Jan. Sassy Kit

Here are just a couple little projects I did using the brown ribbons from the Sassy kit.

Here’s an altered gift box.  It started out as an oatmeal box, but I completely covered it with paper and now it can be reused again and again.  Bow ties on the side.

ZZ January – Escape from Reality Kit

Boy, Did I have alot of fun with this kit! So much Yummy Ribbon! From the Mini Orange Ric Rac to the Pink – Orange Dot Tape, the delightful Chocolate Brown Stitch, and not forgetting about the Light Blue – Cobalt Blue Dots, and the Royal Blue – White Stitch, to the incredibly delightful Huge Royal Blue Ric Rac this kit is amazing to work with!

I created an altered calender for my DH to put in his office. He is a Huge Broncos fan, and the Mini Orange Ric Rac complements it nicely!

I completed the “Just Be Sleepy” LO for Amanda’s “Just Be” Challenge. I used the Mini Orange Ric Rac, Pink – Orange Dot Tape and the Light Blue – Cobalt Blue Dots Ribbon.

For the following LO I used the Light Blue – Cobalt Blue Dots Ribbon and the Huge Royal Blue Ric Rac. This LO was completed for Becca’s “Fresh Start” Challenge.

For My Last LO, I used the Chocolate Brown Stitch to frame my photo. I completed this for our January Guest Designer, Sandra’s January Challenge. I used up alot of brads, and still really did not make a dent in my stash! But I tried!

ZZ sweet nothings kit

Wow I got to work with January ZZ ‘Sweet Nothings’ Kit. And OMG I have to say it was so versatile to work with. The colors are delicious. If you’ve never worked with one of SnS ribbons kits I recommend you get to the store pronto.
