Brads are a scrapbooking essential in my opinion. Besides using them in obvious ways like to hold a ribbon or dot the center of a flower, you can really have fun and play with them. I like to accentuate shapes or to create wavy visual lines with brads too. Lucky for you, brads are the Spotlight Special of the week! This week’s Spotlight Special at Savvy n Sassy features Sizzix products. These items will be on special in the store from October 3rd- 9th.
I created these magnets using a scalloped circle die. First cutting one piece from chipboard and another piece from patterned paper. Added a couple flowers and a little embellishment and a magnet to the back.

This weeks Spotlight Special is Smooch Pearl Inks. This ink is amazing. It comes in such vivid colors and it has the tiniest little brush making application easy. I like to use it to color in stamped images. It’s got a gentle shine. It’s great to add a bit of pizazz to projects. Here is a card I made using Smooch (it outlines the tree).

This week’s spotlight special is alpha stickers! All the letter stickers in the store will be on sale this week. These are one of my absolute essential supplies: cardstock, adhesive, and alpha stickers are my top three.
And my favorite letter stickers are American Crafts thickers. They add so much dimension and texture to every project.
