paper bag cards

To make this project you will need: Patterned Paper, Trimmer (or ruler and scissors), adhesive, decorative edge scissors, ribbon, a brown paper lunch bag, and embellishments of choice.

 supplies

Step 1 – Cut 7″x12″ piece of patterned paper and fold in half.

Step 2 – Trim your lunch bag to 6″ tall.  Align the bottom edge of the folded bag, with the fold in your patterned paper.  Adhere front and back of lunch bag inside paper piece.  (The bag should open when the card is open)

Step 3 – Cut a 4″x7″ strip of patterned paper.  Trim along one edge with your decorative scissors.  Adhere the bottom of the strip, (the part you didn’t cut with deco scissors), to the top back edge of your card. Fold over top of card to make a flap.

Step 4 – Embellish as desired!
