Cards anyone?

here’s a little bandaid tin that i altered with Basic Grey paper and SNS’s SAVVY Ribbon kit for september, great bright colors that work perfect with this paper line.

And here’s a shadow box frame I found second hand and revamped/altered as a summer keepsake using Basic Grey’s Mellow line again, Prima flowersbandaid-card-tin-medium.jpg and the SNS Savvy Sept Kit.

Could it be You?

you could be the October Guest design team member and get an awesome ribbon kit to create with.  Since its back to school time my challenge to you for September is to create a layout (or altered project) using School Supplies, items you’d find in the stationery section or office supply store, (staples and transperencies etc) and of course you must use ribbon on the project as well somewhere, 2 pieces at least please. Read complete contest rules here.

Welcome to our Septmeber Guest Designers!

We look forward to seeing your creations later this month!

Meet Christa…..

scrapbook233-2.jpg

Hi, I am Christa. I’m a 31 yr old, SAHM to 2 girls and am expecting in February! I’ve been married 7 1/2 years! I was first introduced to scrapbooking by a neighbor. She had one of those home parties and it was then that I fell in love with the idea of scrapbooking! Once I found that scrapbooking was on the internet that was it for me!! I’m hooked. Scrapbooking allows an outlet for me to be creative and stay sane! I love that my husband built me an area in our office just for my scrap supplies. It consumes the whole room, but he supports my addiction! I love the fact that scrapbooking allows me to preserve my family’s moments, good or bad. I’m honored to be a part of SNS for the month of September. There are lots of inspirational scrappers on here. I hope that I can be one of those for you too!

Meet Sylvia….

August Guest Designers

A huge thanks to the talented Guest Designers for September! (sorry I am late posting these – between kits and scrapfest, I ran out of time! For some reason these 2 monsters at my house think I am thier mommy, they keep calling me this each day and I am unsure why? Asking for things and such. LMAO).

 Meet Athene……

176434255046dca67a9ec58.jpg

I have been scrapbooking for 14 years and making cards for at least 15 years.  I started out pretty much the same way as everyone else back then…with Creative Memories…which was the only show in town.  I was hooked.  I love to create with paper and have always loved cutting and pasting!

As time went on, I was introduced to so many wonderful products that I just had to try them all and found my niche in a wonderful creative outlet.  I met some people through my sister who opened up the world of internet scrapbook sites.  I became a guest designer on ScrapthatMoment.com then a designer. The owner of the website unexpectedly had to close the site and I began shopping for another group of lovely ladies to virtual scrap with and was thrilled when I stumbled onto SavvynSassy

I have found a lovely home to share my creativity and just love chatting with everyone on SnS.  I was honored with the challenge of being August guest designer and just love working with the ribbon kits and other products that SnS sells in their store.  The color combinations are inspirational!!!

I just love my projects with the August Savvy kit.  The color combinations were fabulous and I had to stretch myself with the orange ribbon which is usually not a color I normally use but I loved the results in my “Mr. Attitude” layout and the “Summer Cards”.  I used the leftover ribbons on a mint tin to make a precious paperclip holder for my daughter’s desk. the possibilities are endless with coordinated ribbons from SavvynSassy.com!

Meet Holly………

HI all! I am Holly. I am proud to have made this Guest design team spot. I have been scrapping for 5 years.. The addiction was instant. How could it not be? I loved taking pictures and collecting frames before I started. So when I heard about scrapbooking I headed straight for the door to get myself paper and those deco scissors!

By being a Guest Designer I hope to motivate and inspire all of you to try something new! It is such an honor to know that I have taught someone to try something they wouldnt have thought to try!
