This month I had the privilege of creating with the September Sassy Ribbon Kit. As the main colors of the kit are red, green & cream/white lace I chose to use it for my Christmas layouts & projects. I’m still currently working on a mini accordian album & will post that soon. But, I do have two layouts to share with you!
The pictures are of my daughter who is now 11 years old. I changed them to sepia to give them a more vintage look. The papers, tags, & letter stickers are all Basic Grey. I attached the tags to some loopy brads by Karen Foster using little safety pins.
I used the same Basic Grey pack for this one (Fruitcake) & found this picture of my family back when it was missing quite a few persons (lol)! The cardstock circle is from Topline Creations. The chipboard heart is Lil’ Davis which I first painted with Making Memories paint then dabbed on a bit of the glittery Stickles then added some green Versamagic ink. Rub on letters are from Creating Keepsakes.
Now, I love all of our ribbon kits. But, this one is just amazing! The ribbon is so thick & luscious in color! It was funny because this ribbon kit matched with all of my Christmas Basic Grey papers as if they were all made for each other. Same thing with the buttons I used. Most of the ribbon (save one pattern that is very clearly Christmas) would be versatile enough to go well with other scrap projects; not only Christmas.
