ZZ Dec Kit “Out & About”


I used the green ribbon from this kit as well as some sheer red satin edged organza from SNS to finish off this 4×6 album. I will be taking 24 photos very shortly from a day in our lives to add to this project!

Sometimes it’s the little things that finish off a project just perfectly… like these great Black and White Iron On Applique Flowers. 


 You can use them to ground a layout, add a feminine touch, or even gussy them up a bit and use them on a card like the one I did here.  (Using some letter stamps with my versa mark pad and white embossing powder, I stamped the word ‘friend’ around each of the petals.)  The possibilities are endless!

Sassy December Ribbon Kit


I am not big on doing ‘themed’ layouts, but I have to say with this months Sassy Ribbon Kit, it came together pretty quickly.  I still have to add my photo once it’s developed, but, I did have a certain picture in mind when I created it!  I also used Prima Esprit on this layout which are available in the SnS store.


One of the greatest things about Savvy N Sassy kits, is their versatility.  With one kit I was able to go from a traditional green and white Christmas layout, to a pink, blue and green winter layout.  Gotta love that!

Gift Wrap Ideas


Although I used the bright and cheerful December Sassy Ribbon Kit for these projects, you can use any of the awesome SnS ribbon.  The gift bag was made by covering up a simple brown paper bag.  I cut 5.5″x7″ pcs. of cardstock for the front and back, and embellised with my patterned paper and ribbon.  (The second smaller one is designed to hold a gift card.)
