Jennifer’s Sept DT reveals

this is September’s ribbon kit –trees of colour.

Grade 2
I used Bo Bunny learning curve papers for this layout. I used the ribbon in a subtle way on this layout…. as an accent on the journalling strips. I used Inque Boutique stamps, Basic Grey buttons, and unknown brads.

Happy Day
to be totally honest, I don’t know who all makes the papers that I used on this layout. I know the majority of it is Basic Grey. I used the brown pom pom trim under the picture to draw the eye to the picture since the paper are so busy. I used dew drops around the page to add movement as well.

Love
This layout is made from K&Company papers. I cut a second piece of paper up and used it as accents. (they are popped up on pop dots) See the ribbon in the layers on the left? I added glitter to the polka dots and mounted it as an additional layer.

Butterfly card
my last creation was a quick card using scraps of paper. I don’t use yellow cardstock too often, so I had lots of it in my scraps area. The polka dotted ribbon really pulled the polka dot theme from the card and tied it all together. The small piece of patterned paper that I used on this card is from Basic Grey.

Trees of colour was an easy ribbon kit to play with. Why don’t you give it a try.

Well Rhea did it again!! She chose such useful, versatile ribbon for this kit, and she named it “Trees of Color.”  Beautiful!

Have a look at the kit, because it’s one you won’t want to miss out on!

Link to the kit is right here:  “Trees of Color”

Beauty and versatility: this kit is NOT to be missed!

Project #1:  My first project is one that uses some really BUSY but cool paper from Black Market Paper Society. I just loved the combo  of yellow, rich brown and pink!~ The pink was perfect because I always think of Llamas as “girls” (they are such pretty creatures, I dunno, it’s just my way of thinking of them, I guess)  and this was the PERFECT choice of patterned paper! I was able to add a pink seedbead to every pink spot on this patterned paper too ! Looks pretty girl-y! !

These photos were taken at the famous and  animal-friendly Oaklawn Farm Zoo, just 7 minutes from our home. It’s located in Aylesford, NS and well worth the visit!  Come see me too, while you’re in the area!

Here is my “Llamas” LO:
