Creating with this yummy May kit is a great way to start your day, just like…….

 Toast N Coffee!

The calm colours of this ribbon kit make it incredibly versatile.  I wanted to do a variation of different projects this month, specifically to show you the versatility.

First up, CARDS.  The cards above I created using Crate Papers ‘Sweet Branch’ collection, Pink Paislee stamps, (new in store), Sassfrass Lass Oliver and Friends stamps (also new in store), and ofcourse, SnS May Toast N Coffee ribbon kit.

Here is a centre piece I made for my mother-in-law for this past Mother’s Day.  (The flowers are actually chocolate coins that I altered!)  Foam inside the basket holds the flowers in place.  A bit of raffia to cover the foam, some ribbon from the Toast N Coffee ribbon kit, and voila!  Easy peasy, lol.

‘In Training’– My husband had brought home a piece of equipement from work to get rid of some old barrels and junk in our backyard… well, there was no way my kids were letting him get away without giving them a ride.  Of course mommy was standing on the sidelines watching nervously!  Do you notice how again the ribbon from Toast N Coffee work so well here on a more masculine layout?  I love that!

For these last few projects, I decided to pull out my Gel-a-tins ‘Wild Things’ stamp set, as well as a stamp from Daisy Bucket Designs.  (Matched up them up with paper from 7 Gypsies.)  The eyeglass container was plain wood when I got it, and I painted it a warm taupe colour to accent the ribbon from the Toast N Coffee kit.  Black Diamond Stickles from Ranger and flowers from Making Memories add the finishing touches.

Now it’s your turn!
