For this LO I wanted to smooth out the corners of the photo and the green paper and I did that by using the rick rack on this kit.  It is such a nice size rick rack and the color is like a lemon mousse.

two-small1On this LO I wanted to ground the pink cardstock to the busy background and I did that by adding just one simple line of the bigger size pink trim that this kit offers.

I used the ribbons here just to add a little more interest to some pretty simple cards.  The moments card is a tad more complex that is why I left the ribbon even more simple, but I did add a touch of whimsy threading the sheer ribbon through the button’s holes.

truelovenever_cu2This tiny card w/ triangle foldings is just as cute as it gets but it needs something to hold it together and there is no better thing that ribbon.  I used the sheer ribbon because I wanted to be able to see through it the background paper.

ZZ March – Beach House Kit –  I love ribbon and days at the beach, taking a nice sun bath!!!!  So this kit was no surprise, when I picked it up… all I needed was some sand…

Go check out our SnS’ gallery with tons of more samples from the design team!

My first sample is a mouse pad that I added some ribbon, on one of the sides.

Then I took the pastel color ribbons and used it against a bright color to make a more dramatic impact.

On this card, I just wanted to prove that you can mix and match “Fall colors” w/ pastel colors.

This card just screamed polka dots to me, I guess it’s the red polka dot ribbon in the kit!

Just a little detail to make this card from plain to fabulous!

All this LO needed was that little bit of green ribbon dividing those 2 pattern papers.

1. On this one I wanted to accentuate the funky shape of the card and the black rick-rack was just perfect for this.  I also threaded a bit of the black and white ribbon through the button.

2. Layering ribbon is as much fun as layering paper.  Here I layered 2 different ribbons to create a very elegant card.  Check out the cute ribbon embellishment on the front tab.

3.  Sometimes a card only needs a bit more of interest and ribbon is the answer, and this eyelet ribbon is just great!

4.  I love the detail of lace knotted down to hold down a piece of embellishment.  In this case the piece of lace was stapled and this is what’s holding in place the clear embellishment.
