Well Rhea did it again!! She chose such useful, versatile ribbon for this kit, and she named it “Trees of Color.”  Beautiful!

Have a look at the kit, because it’s one you won’t want to miss out on!

Link to the kit is right here:  “Trees of Color”

Beauty and versatility: this kit is NOT to be missed!

Project #1:  My first project is one that uses some really BUSY but cool paper from Black Market Paper Society. I just loved the combo  of yellow, rich brown and pink!~ The pink was perfect because I always think of Llamas as “girls” (they are such pretty creatures, I dunno, it’s just my way of thinking of them, I guess)  and this was the PERFECT choice of patterned paper! I was able to add a pink seedbead to every pink spot on this patterned paper too ! Looks pretty girl-y! !

These photos were taken at the famous and  animal-friendly Oaklawn Farm Zoo, just 7 minutes from our home. It’s located in Aylesford, NS and well worth the visit!  Come see me too, while you’re in the area!

Here is my “Llamas” LO:

 Project #2: “Mama Miniature” Layout

These photos were also taken at Oaklawn Farm Zoo. What a wonderful place! The September  Ribbon Kit content were perfect for showcasing thse pictures!  Title lettering: Cosmo Cricket, also available at the store (HERE).

A couple of closeups for you:

Cream grosgrain wrapped around corner of tile and put thru a pewter ribbon slide as an accent. Brown mini pom-pom trim also visible accenting left side of picture.

Cream dotted organza ribbon was tied in an off-centre bow to enhance "baby picture."

Journaling close-up (font: Tabitha) clearly shows use of dotted grosgrain near top edge of LO.
