Technique:
I used some handstitching for the butterfly trail. One of my favourite things to do!

Technique:
Don’t be afraid to pull your ribbons and trims apart like I did with my pom pom trim so I could use it to make the body of my butterfly.

June ~ Tropical Splash

This was a great kit to work with. I  used the white lace with some Glimmer Mist to alter to the color I desired. I  also  used the turquoise loop braid, this color is fabulous!

Estate Sale

Sadly this is the end of my design team term with Savvy N Sassy. It has been so much fun! I have loved working with all the gorgeous ribbons each month and the other wonderful ladies from the design team! Thank you Savvy N Sassy!!

This month my kit is the ZZ June Estate Sale kit. I just love the blues and the huge variety of different ribbons in the kit!

A Splash of Summer

The kids have such fun each summer going to Peanut Beach and using our inflatable boat. I used the pompom trim to add some waves to the photo.

We Are Family

I used a scallop motiv, the measuring tape ribbon and some tied ribbon for this family layout.

Sweet Fun

I just loved this pompom trim and used it on quite a few of my projects. Lots of flowers on this page and some ribbon tied through the buttons.

Love & Togetherness

I used a Magistical Memories chipboard heart border as well as the Pebbles Inc. So Tweet line for this layout. The pompom trim, some doodling and ribbon crisscrossed under buttons finishes it off.

Time Together

I used a lot of different elements for this boyish page of my son and our dog. The wavy black and white ric rac and measuring tape ribbon help as accents on my page.

I used a My Mind’s Eye kit to make these 2 cards, as well as some black Kaiser gems and black ribbon from the kit.

A Day in the yard

Do you like pom pom ribbon? Then this kit is for you. It’s got 4 beautiful colors of pom poms. It was lots of fun to play with. Here are my creations.

August SnS Kit ~ Girls Night Ribbon kit and Magistical Memories chipboard

Sorry this is a bit late, but I have no idea where August went!

Here is the kit I got to play with in August:

I have to say I love love love this kit, I love pink and black combo! And that tape measure ribbon was just awesome!

Here is my fist layout using this kit and Magistical Memories chipboard Potty people. Other products used:

Basic Grey Euphoria papers, Crochet flower and some roses from old earrings.

My second project is a recipe card that is 6×6 (I made 12 of these total), and using some Magistical Memories chipboard again. Papers I used here are some older papers from Fancy Pants.

I had a lot of fun creating this layout, I just played with some Prima papers and created this funky flower frame around my round photo, also using flower chipboard from Magistical Memories.

My First LO is Called “Grade Eleven”

I used Blue Grosgrain – #0289 & Blue – Green – White Multi Stripe Grosgrain – #0437 from the August SnS Lily Pads n Leapfrogs Kit. Also From SNS I used: Fancy Pants Designs ~ Sweet Pea 12×12 Paper ~Abigail, & Flocked the Owl with Flocking and Glitter Kit – The Basics. From Magistical Memories I used the Pineapple & Hoot. Also Used: Fancy Pants Rub Ons, Fiskars Punch, Stash Sticker, Making Memories Paint & Glaze Markers.

Next Up is :33:

Here I used: White Grosgrain – #0434, White Loop Braid – #0435, Black-Gray-Silver Jacquard & AC Thickers – Sprinkles from SNS. From Magistical Memories I used the Pointed Maggie Flower. Also Used: Black Card Stock, Silver Metallic Cardstock, MM Rub ons, Misc Transparency, Stash Bling (For Flower), Misc Ribbon.

Here is Sisters:

From the August SnS Lily Pads n Leapfrogs Kit I used the Celadon Grosgrain – #0290 & Blue Grosgrain – #0289. Patterned Paper is Me and My BIG Ideas 12×12 Paper Pad – Renee. (Of Course I had to buy that! lol – seriously – its has lots of beautiful papers in it!) From Magistical Memories I used Tab Trio Square. Also Used: Misc Stash Handmade & Patterned Paper, Swap Flower, Misc Button, Floss, K & C Flocked Sticker, MM Paint.

The following is called “BatDog”:

Ok Here is the story. Max Answers to “Bat Dog”, I’m been dying to do a Bat Dog LO for a while, and I finally found the right supplies. lol – that said. *giggles* here goes:

I used Black Lace, Black – Gold Metallic Braid & Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Lemon Zest from the SNS Store. I also Used Magistical Memories Desire Flower for the Tag. Also Used: Reminice Bat Crush PP, MAMBI STickers, Black Glaze Pen, Gold Sharpie, MM Paint, Ranger Distress Ink.

Savvy ‘n Sassy makes it a “Girls Night”

This Kit just rocks!I loved the pinks and blacks, the dots and velvet.They were so versatile to work with and went with just about anything.

This month, to make things extra special, our Design Team was sponsored by the generous Magitical Memories Chipboard
Thanks Magistical Memories.The chipboard goodies were such a treat, and a pleasure to use.

For my first layout I used 2 sizes of “Desire Flower” chipboard. I covered them in papers which matched the layout, layered one atop the other, used my Crop-a-Dile to punch through them and threaded the yummy dotted organza through it.

Here I painted the largest Star Leaf chipboard shape with a bright Kiwi paint, and then added a light pink shimmer once dry.
I also used the very versatile Ruler Jacuard trim from the ribbon kit.

In this layout, I left the Pinted Maggie chipboard bare to match the natural feel I was hoping to attain with the layout. The rub-on I used on the chipboard went on smoothly and easily.

ZZ August Picture Post Card….

THIS is the incredible kit I chose to work with this month!  Lace is not something I have incorporated into my designs a whole lot in the past, so I was really looking forward to playing around and seeing what I could come up with.  AND, if having an incredible lace kit to design with wasn’t enough, we had the most amazing sponsor product to work with this month as well!  MAJISTICAL MEMORIES was so kind (and generous) to provide all the DT with some of their yummy chipboard this month.  Thank-you ever so much Magistical Memories!! xoxo
